September is National Suicide Prevention Month

All of at WeedRecs are committed to doing our part in making you aware that suicide is preventable.

Medical marijuana can negatively impact some people’s mental health. That’s why at WeedRecs, we incorporated a clinical screening and diagnostic tool for depression into our very first Online Health Questionnaire prototype nearly 4 years ago. Since then and after almost 50K patients, we improved on our evaluation process by creating a unique Suicidality Index, which determines what the risk of suicide may be in patients that indicate thoughts of self-harm.  This automated evaluation, along with other screening tools for mental health (ie bipolar disorder, anxiety, PTSD, and ADHD) are made available to every patient of WeedRecs.

In support of National Suicide Prevention month, we will be making available to the general public an anonymous version of our Depression Screening & Suicidality Index (DSSI) tool, completely free-of-charge.

Our aim is to be the lighthouse in the storm of your depression or your loved ones struggle.  Feel free to use our tool to see if you or your loved one suffer from a condition that can be treated, so that you or they can feel better.
